Beginner's Guide | How to Play Ragnarok X: Next Generation on LDCloud

Ragnarok X: Next Generation was released in June 2021, and it includes a number of new experiences and mechanics not found in the classic version. Thus, this game has become a fascinating game for the Ragnarok players.

Classes in Ragnarok X: Next Generation:

Ragnarok X: Next Generation currently has six unique classes. Each of these classes has two sub-classes. When players reach level 10, they can first choose a class. And in the recent update, players now can unlock the 3rd class when they reach level 70 and accept a quest over at Glast Heim Churchyard and complete three tests.

· Swordsman (Knight or Crusader)
In most MMORPGs, the Swordsman is a DPS class. They have access to the most powerful armour, making them perfect for absorbing severe damage while leading the frontline defence. With fast AS and damage dealing while yet having enough defence, Swordsman is the best class for most new players. The Swordsman can advance to Knight which can upgrade to a Lord Knight. Another is Crusader, who has stronger defence and endurance. 

· Acolyte (Priest or Monk)
In ROX, the Acolytes are the support class. They are experts at assisting their allies. The Acolyte can advance into Priest and Monk to provide help to allies in the form of healing and boosts. Priests can level up to become High Priests, who have both supportive and offensive spells.

· Mage (Wizard or Sage)
The Mage class specializes in magical attacks that take advantage of the elements. This class's major job is to deal with AOE damage from a variety of damaging spells. The Mage can advance into the Sage and Wizard class which can level up to become a High Wizard.

· Thief (Assassin or Rogue)
Thief is a class in Ragnarok X: Next Generation that relies on shadows to deliver damage, both direct and AOE. This character is a single-target high DPS attacker who excels at punishing adversaries with fatal weapons. The thief can also use poison to inflict DOT on enemies. The Thief can progress to become an Assassin or a Rogue.

· Archer (Hunter or Dancer)
Archer is a classic ranged damage dealer, having both AoE and direct damage attacks. Hunter, Dancer (Female Character), or Bard (Male Character) are all options for the Archer. In comparison to the Hunter, the Dancer has more supportive skills.

· Merchant (Blacksmith or Alchemist)
The Merchant is the only class in ROX who can use the Craft Skill to make money, as well as having cart skills that do unique damage and skills that utilise Zeny to deal AOE damage. They can set up stalls to sell various items. Merchants can deal damage with axes and pushcarts in battle. They can also use heavy armour to protect themselves. The Merchant has the option of becoming a Blacksmith or an Alchemist. You can advance from Blacksmith to Master Smith, and from Alchemist to Bio Alchemist.

However, new players should be aware that each class starts at the novice level. Once you've completed the basic quests, you can finally choose your First Job Class like Swordsman, Acolyte, Mage, etc. To unlock the Second Job Class (Knight, Priest, Wizard, etc.), you need to level up your class to Level 50. And when you reach level 70 and complete the quest, you can unlock the 3rd class. The new 3rd class includes Ranger, Warlock, Archbishop, Rune Knight, Guillotine Cross and Mechanic.

Equipment:

Equipment drops in several places in Ragnarok X: Next Generation, depending on the tier and type of equipment. ROX features four different types of equipment: white, blue, purple, and yellow. All equipment can be upgraded to increase its base stats. Different NPCs in the main town can help you enhance your equipment. 

Quest:

Like any other MMOs, in Ragnarok X: Next Generation, there are different quests for players to level up or unlock game features. Generally, ROX has three types of quests which are quite important: main quest, side quest and board mission. The main quest is the first thing for players to do. Side quests are essential. The tutorial side quests will show you how to use some of the game's features. For instance, side quests would teach you how to catch and fish and how to upgrade your equipment in ROX and so on. Once players reach level 22, they can unlock the board mission. Players can get a lot of XP when they complete these board missions. In ROX, players can accept ten missions at one time.

Tips on how to level up faster in Ragnarok X: Next Generation:

1.  Completing the Main Quests is the first step. When you start your adventure in ROX, the first thing you should do is complete the Main Quests. The quests are simple, but they reward you with a lot of EXP when you finish them. You can easily reach level 25 by grinding for just a few hours while completing the main quests.
2. Monster hunting. To reach level 50 as quickly as possible, you should prioritize mining and fishing to get boosts and begin grinding. To find monsters who yield a lot of EXP, you can look at the monster list under Recommended Training Points.  If you would like to reach that more efficiently, your target monsters should be Poison Spore, Roda Frog, Caramel, and Martin.
3. Unlock Odin's Blessing to get enormous EXP gains. This feature can help you earn EXP faster. When you activate this Blessing, you gain five times the amount of XP, Zenny, drop rates, and stamina. Thus, remember to unlock Odin's Blessing when you reach level 25.
4. Complete Chamber of Commerce Missions. When you complete the Chamber of Commerce Mission, you will receive a large amount of EXP. Chamber of Commerce Missions is daily quests that require you to purchase specific items from locals and other towns. In exchange for completing the mission, you will receive EXP and Gacha coin.
5. Complete Mission Board quests daily. All you have to do is go to the Board quests menu and accept the missions that are offered. Every city has Mission Boards where you can take up to 10 tasks every day.
