Limbus Company is a newly released RPG game by ProjectMoon and it's a story-driven title. Since story-driven games are making their return back to gaming, it's amazing to see such a refreshing title in the world of mobile gaming.
A lot of people have been waiting for Limbus Company to come into the gaming world and since the game is now available, you might be wondering about how to start the game.
Well, we have put together a full Limbus Company beginner guide for you to follow.
In most RPG games and especially story drive titles, a lot of people fail on the very first step; they don't focus on the story. The story should be your main focus right from the beginning of the game. Why? As Limbus Company is a story-driven game, your main priority should be knocking out story mode and progressing the most there.
You will make the most progress in story mode since that is why the game was built in the first place. Limbus Company has two main options: the story mode and identity stories. Once you enter the game, you will have to click the main story option to get your first rodeo started and that's where most players will make the most progress.
Your character stats will get higher, new characters will get unlocked easily, and you will be able to further progress the game without getting capped in any area. As you progress the story, you will unlock new episodes that you can play to reach higher levels.
Moreover, every main episode has more sub-episodes that you can complete in order to progress. While most sub-episodes will make you battle, a lot of them will also incorporate you reaching a certain place and completing a specific story.
In Limbus Company, one of the biggest beginner's mistakes is if you don't use support characters. Well, as the name suggests, a supporting character can usually heal and give your team buffs that they can use to increase their battling capabilities.
Support characters will literally help you in places you thought you would never win. For example, some support players will heal all of your characters while others will stun the enemies. Moreover, once you add your friends, you can use their sinners as the 6th member of your team.
So if your friend has a really good character, you can simply go select the identity of your Sinner and select Support. By picking what's available from the option, you can easily start the game.
Aside from the 5 characters that you've got, you will also get the 6th one which will appear as an additional team member. Hence, at the end, don't ignore support characters as they will help you a lot in winning battles.
Now before you enter any battle in Limbus Company, you can edit your team, add new characters, customize your Sinners, and do a whole lot more. Moreover, you can even select between the identities of the sinners to choose the best for the battle.
Before the battle, you can create teams and the game allows you to build a total of 20 team presets that you can use without having to recreate the whole thing again. Building teams will be important as you progress through the game because each stage is different.
In some stages, you might feel the need to go all out and send your attacking lineup. While the others will need to be defensive so you can protect against the enemies. According to the battle requirement, some Sinners might not be able to make it to a specific stage as well.
So what's the ideal lineup? Well, in Limbus Company, you're better off analyzing the characters' abilities and then choosing Sinners with the best stats and skills. While choosing them, you will be shown their identities and you can switch those identities to choose which one you want for the battle.
Playing Limbus company is no easy feat. Once you go into the "Drive" section, you can either choose Inferno or Mirror Dungeons. But which one should you go for? Well, Inferno is already unlocked for you and you just need to enter to play. So, if you want to enjoy the adrenaline pumping dungeon experience, just go for Inferno dungeon. Each dungeon will have a list of stages that you need to complete. Once you enter the stage, you will need to do anything in your power to complete them.
As you click on these stages, you will be able to see the enemy's information like resistances, statuses, and skills. You can also see the objectives given to you for each stage.
On the flip side, Mirror Dungeons are also great since you will fight some of the most powerful and fiercest enemy bosses. After entering these dungeons, your Sinners must fight to survive and win. If you love exploring dungeons, then Mirror Dungeons will provide you with more depth.
Leveling up constantly should be your beginning focus in Limbus Company. When it comes to your offensive and defensive values, you must give them the most attention since your power dictates the level of impact you're going to have in the game.
In other words, if you feel like your enemies are winning against you every time, chances are that your Sinner is just too weak. Hence, battling in dungeons and leveling up your character there will allow you to improve your game on a bigger level than you expect.
There are two types of battle passes in Limbus Company; paid pass and a free pass. Obviously, the paid pass will have more rewards since you're essentially buying the in-game objects for the amount of money you're going to pay for the pass.
With most levels, you can earn free rewards but if you really want to go extreme, you should buy the battle pass to improve your Limbus Company experience.
