Pikachu Ex

Pikachu, is one of the strongest characters you can find in Pokémon TCG Pocket. This card has everything needed for you to ace the game, and there are many arguments that it also beats the Mewtwo ex, which is what we will clarify in a bit.

Pikachu Ex makes an attack that can damage up to 90 by using just two energies. Now, those are some of the most impressive feats you can think of. The attack called Circle Circuit deals with 30 damage times the number of shock Pokemon in the game, which is something that is even more impressive.

All in all, Pikachu Ex is the most impressive Pokemon TCG Pocket Tier list card you can think of.

Mewtwo Ex

Mewtwo Ex is on par with the Pikachu Ex card as it deals 50 damage with its Psychic Sphere. But when it transitions to Skydrive, a 150-damage becomes inevitable, which is what you should be looking for.

When it comes to the whole roster of Pokemon cards in Pokémon TCG Pocket, Mewtwo Ex just takes the cake for being one of the strongest characters in the game. What makes this card best is that it has a top-tier 150 HP, which would mean that Mewtwo will last for a long time.

Charizard Ex

This deck is capable of shooting most Pokemon with one-shot due to his abilities of an attack called Crimson Storm. This attack deals with 200 damage and a lot more. Thanks to its fire abilities, it would annihilate many other Pokemon while ensuring that you are getting a best-in-class experience.

To make it interesting, Charizard Ex also uses Moltres Ex's Inferno Dance attack, which is probably the most overpowered attack you can find in the game. Why? Well, not a single Pokemon can withstand this attack and be okay.

So, if you want a Pokemon card that has overall good stats and can still destroy the living hell of most other decks, then aim for Charizard Ex.

Starmie Ex

Starmie was overpowered in the original anime and the game as well. This Pokemon deals with 90 damage with two energies which makes it one of the best cards you can choose. To make it interesting, with its Hydro Splash, you can deal a massive damage of 90 and get around 2 turns which just improves your confidence as the player of Pokémon TCG Pocket.

What makes Starmie Ex a great A-tier character is that it also has no retreat cost, which means you can put it on a bench and retreat without having to lose a point to your enemies. Lastly, the powerup features also make this card one of the best in class.

Venusaur Ex

Venusaur Ex is one of the perfect cards that makes healing a breeze, and with this strategy, you can even improve at a faster rate in the game. While its final attack might not be the best in class, with Giant Bloom, you can heal much more efficiently and effectively.

Moreover, if you put the Venusaur Ex card with Trainer cards like Potion and supporters like Erika, you can go miles into the game without having to grind too hard. To make it interesting,  Venusaur Ex's natural bulk grants you 190 HP, which is one of the highest among all of them.

Alakazam

Alakazam might not be the most visually appealing nor the most impressive looking card but rest assured, it is great for beginners who are just starting out their journey as a Pokémon TCG Pocket player.

Just like Mewtwo, it has a good Psychic attack that scales up with each Energy attached to the defending Pokemon. To make it interesting, when we pair Alakazam with Giovanni's support, you can take down even the strongest Pokemon like Starmie Ex and Venusaur Ex because the overall stats just improve to the next level.

All in all, Alakazam is quite a budget-friendly player that can take you from zero to hero in one go. Lastly, Alakazam will pair with other 1-point Pokemon in the budget-friendly shells.

Blastoise Ex

Blastoise Ex is another amazing character, even though it might not be the strongest or the flashiest Pokemon in the game. It is a solid card in meta due to its attacks that scale really well. To make things even better, it uses surf for two energy sources, which deals with a damage of 40, but that's not the key highlight of what it is capable of.

Then we have Hydro Boost, which takes three energy sources and causes 100 damage. This is a good place to be since now we're talking about the attack. However, things escalated more than the talk about Hydro Bazooka, which takes five energy but deals with a great 160 damage.

Interestingly enough, this attack is enough to one-shot most of the characters in the game.

Melmetal

Lastly, we have Melmetal who is also the current boss of a small pool of the Pokemon of his type. This is due to his bulk which grants him 130HP and a powerful attack. One of the standout attacks is Hard Coat which reduces the enemy's attack damage by 20 and also increases its endurance to around 150HP.

Then we also have other attacks like Heavy Impact and more that ultimately put you on a good route to becoming a stronger champion.

Conclusion

The world of Pokémon TCG Pocket is amazing and this tier list will help you become stronger quickly. Choose the right card and you won't regret your gameplay. Enjoy playing Pokémon TCG Pocket with LDCloud!
