Ragnarok X: Next Generation, or ROX, became increasingly popular over the few months, and it has been one of the fan favorites. However, there are so many technicalities when it comes to its gameplay. One of the most important aspects of ROX is mining.

With mining, you can upgrade your character faster, allowing you to leverage a boost in your character abilities. With mining, you can start upgrading, refining, and smelting. However, mining does require two Stamina from the player side.

You also need to buy pickaxes and know about different mining tools. So, in this ROX guide, we'll cover the mining aspect in detail.

Required Life Skills for Mining

First, we have Life Skills. Under Mining, you can find all the information you need to mine successfully. In the mining menu, you can see your level and the experience required for the next level.

Mining items are used for crafting and smelting. You can use either component to refine, enhance, and craft material. So. let's say you want to craft Pharacon I, you will need to be at level 10 with a strengthening material. Similarly, the life skills will vary on what you're crafting.

With Mining, you also get XP for Life Skills, and as a result, you can keep mining bigger and bigger items.

At level 3, you can mine Gold Ore; at level 8, you can mine Ore Veins. There are levels to mining, meaning that it's not a straight path. Moreover,  the game will let you know detailed information. Where to Buy Pickaxes?

Pickaxes are required to mine, just like in real life You can buy these pickaxes from the Sunrise store and get the supplies you need for the life skills. To mind, you need pixels. The normal and advanced pickaxes are for level 1-8 veins.

Moreover, there are also advanced pickaxes that are faster but would cost around 300% more than the normal ones. While both can mine similar items, your best bet would be to buy advance pickaxes since they can farm much quicker than usual.

It all depends on your Zeny spending and how much you can afford in the game. So, here are some of the pickaxes you can find in ROX.

● Normal Pickaxe: A normal pickaxe is just like its name: normal. It's not a bad tool by any means. However, mining your materials will take a good amount of time. It has never been used as a smelting material to produce advanced pickaxes. A normal pickaxe is a regular tool you can buy at the sunrise shop in all the major cities with 18,000 Zenies.

● Advanced Pickaxe: Advanced pickaxe is much more efficient but costs a lot compared to a normal pickaxe. For example, you can get it for around 54,000 Zenies, much more than the normal pickaxe. In return, you're getting three times the speed, and it can mine advanced mineral veins, especially the ones that come at level 9.

● Tungsten Gold Pickaxe: The Tungsten Gold Pickaxe is one of the sturdiest axes in the game, and it can gather 9th-level veins. It can easily deal with advanced materials and costs a lot too. You can get it for 150k, a huge jump compared to normal and advanced.

● Advanced Tungsten Gold Pickaxe: Another ideal mining tool that is good for advanced gold mining picks, this one can speed up the mining process to an unreal degree. Moreover, you can also use this to collect the 9th-level veins but shorten the mining time. The Advanced Tungsten Gold Pickaxe costs a whopping 2.7 million Zenies.

● Alloy Pickaxe: Another special pickaxe, the Alloy one can get the items others cannot. Not only does this cost a lot, but it is only gotten through the Glory Pass Reward or a Crystal Shop in Alberta City. The fact that it can only be obtained from the Glory Pass worries most people. However, you can use them on special nodes like Mjolnir Pit 2F. You get 100 mats at once for higher-level ore veins, and it only takes 4 seconds to mine than using Alloy pickaxes. Hence, Alloy pickaxes are the best tools you can find in the game right now. You can also get them directly from the Crystals Vendor, though they will cost a lot.

How to Mine like a Pro?

Mining is straightforward in ROX. you go to the mining menu and click on the location of the ingredient you want to farm. Before mining, ensure you have a pickaxe so it's not a problem.

You can also use auto-pathing, which will take you there. When the auto-pathing takes over, you will get to the vein location, and the mining button will pop off. That's where you can start mining. 
Each mining attempt with cost you four stamina. And if you have lower stamina, you can only farm in lower veins with lower items. Hence, the higher the ingredient you're mining, the more items can be made.

You can also use LDCloud to have AFK mining. All you need to do just open ROX in LDCloud, and then click the auto-farming button to let the AI take over. Even if you leave the game, your progress won't be hindered.
