SS-Tier

Cha Hae-In

Cha Hae-In is the best S-tier character in Solo Leveling: Arise due to her ability to deal with massive damage. Moreover, he builds is easy to make and since she focuses on critical damage, she is a force to reckon with.

Hae-In can also be used to destroy bosses and enemies that heal as she can apply the "Unrecoverable" attack, which halts the ability to recover.

Choi Jong-In

Just as good as Cha Hae-In, Jong-In is completely destroyed. His attacking skills and penetration power will put anyone to shame. Moreover, he's easier to build than other characters and provides great energy when out of combat.

He also re-uses his skills after using his ultimate attack.

Emma Laurent

While she doesn't look rowdy, Emma is a great damage dealer, even though she's a tank. Her ability allows her to destroy opponents while sustaining large amounts of damage. Moreover, Emma's passive also provides her with a shield and defense penetration which helps her battle in the best condition possible.

Seo Jiwoo

Jiwo is the best breaker unit in Solo Leveling: Arise and an amazing S-tier character. This is all thanks to the constant refresh on the cooldown for her skills. Moreover, she can also get a shield to make herself even tankier, which makes her a true badass.

S-Tier

Baek Yoonho

Baek Yoonho is the best light damage dealer and breaker. He provides a break on everything he does, including all the basic attacks. Moreover, he's considered one of the best damage dealers and he can scale with defense.

Min Byung-Gu

Min Byung-Gu's main focus is using his "Disguise" skill. This skill has both healing and critical damage benefits, which makes him the perfect asset to the team. Moreover, Byung-Gu is super easy to build since his main job isn't focusing on damage.

Silver Mane Baek Yonhoo

As intimidating as he looks, the Silver Mane is quite a badass in the game. The lower his HP goes, the more attacking he becomes. Moreover, he's one of the best choices for single-target. The main problem with Yonhoo is that it's hard to keep him alive in the battle. So, depending on your team's composition, you must adjust.

A-Tier

Hwang Dongsoo

An A-tier Solo Leveling: Arise character is quite good due to his ability to stun, knockdown, and be constantly airborne. Moreover, he works perfectly when you scale defense. However, it is harder to build him.

Kang Taeshik

He's popular due to his passive bleed attack. However, it is not applied to some bosses. But if bleed can be used, he can damage even the SS units in the game, making him one of the strongest players you can pick.

Lee Bora

Thanks to her summons, Bora has great damage output. Moreover, she is also the best buffer in the game, which makes her an amazing pick for newbies. However, it is hard to stay inside her buff circle because enemies move too much in the game. That's the only reason why she might not be in the S-tier.

Lim Tae-Gyu

Lim Tae-Gyu has great damage output. However, his only issue is that he’s too slow. While he can be an asset for single-target bosses, he will suffer if multiple characters are in play. His ultimate can also be tricky to use, but if you have the time, he's great.

Nam Chae-Young

Nam Chae-Young has amazing skills because of her break attack. Paired with Freeze, she's a whole different character. But with her long cooldowns, her skills can only do so much.

Park Heejin

Park Heejin is a great debuffer because she can clean all debuffs from the whole team. However, she cannot do damage to the opponents, which makes her a bad character for some. But if you're more towards the healing side, there can't be a better character than her.

B-Tier

Kim Chul

Has multiple suns paired with a break, which makes him one of the best characters in the game for fighting against bosses. His passive scales with defense too!

Woo Jinchul

Jinchul is known for having an elite level of mobility thanks to his dodge and passives. His lower damage outputs than most SSRs make him a great pick for beginners.

Yoo Jinho

To describe Jinho, he is a jack of all trades but a master of none. He isn't the best character but he wouldn't disappoint you either.

C-Tier

Anna Ruiz

Anna has decent damage, but overall, she is not as useful as many other characters in the game. She is a great attack but can't do much when the bosses are stronger than her.

Hwang Dongsuk

Dongsuk is Another great character, he can heal well while taking more damage. If you're someone who focuses more on healing and tanking, then this character can be a great start. Just know that there are many other characters who will absolutely crush Dongsuk because he's nothing too special.
